FRANK MITCHELL’S XMAS SHOW

Tickets: £19.50   Doors Open: 7.30pm for 8.00pm start

This is the first year UTV’s weather man Frank Mitchell has embarked on his own theatre tour.  The chirpy presenter of UTV’s weather and a presenter of U105.8fm radio Frank Mitchell is probably one of the most popular presenters on our screens to-day.  He will bring his own wit and humour to the stage with some great stories of behind the TV cameras.

Joining Frank for this great show is our very own First Lady of Country Music Susan McCann and her band.  Susan who earlier this year received the female lifetime achievement award at the NICMA Show in Ballymena - an award she truly deserves.  Her hit singles include songs like “Once Upon A Time”, “String of Diamonds”, “Broken Speed of the Sound of Loneliness” and “When the Sun says goodbye to the Mountains”.

Irelands top comedian Gene Fitzpatrick will be joined by Tickety Boo – a two piece group from Blackpool with a fabulous tribute to Billy Connolly and the hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s

Also this years Northern Ireland U-Factor Winner Catherine Grimley will be performing tracks from her new album entitled “In My Fathers House”, fresh from her Mediterranean cruise which was part of her prize for winning The U Factor.  TV and Radio producers have predicted a very successful career for Catherine, who is now in the studios recording her second album.

AN EVENING WITH BRIAN KENNEDY

Tickets: £   Doors Open: 7.30pm for 8.00pm start

If there were a special award for being multi gifted, then Brian Kennedy would surely walk with it.  A critically acclaimed singer/songwriter and proven radio/television presenter, he is now acknowledged as an author of considerable worth, having produced a series of short stories and two novels (with a third on the way), not surprisingly, for a lyricist of his calibre.

Over the past 20 years Brian has recorded some of the finest songs ever from an Irish artist, songs like “Put a message in the Box”, “A Better Man”, “Life, Love and Happiness”, “These Days”, “Go with my Heart”, “Every song is a cry for Love”, “Dirty Old Town, “Curragh of Kildare”, “Mountains of Mourne”.

With a voice to charm the angels, Brian will always be remembered for his version of “You Raise Me Up” at the late George Bests funeral service.

His latest album “Interpretations”, includes some fabulous tracks including Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl”.

Quite simply Brian is a natural communicator no more so than in his live concerts.
